About Me

Hi, I’m Skandha! I’m a final-year undergraduate studying Geography at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge. I’m particularly interested in Climate Change and Social Inequality, and have successfully completed research projects in India and Germany. However, I’ve maintained a breadth of modules across Human, Physical and Environmental Geography—ranging from Modelling Glaciers to Future Climate Change and Development Studies. I’ve ranked in the top five of my cohort throughout my time at Cambridge, and I hold offers for Master’s programmes in Environmental Governance and Policy from Cambridge, Oxford, and UCL.

Before stepping back, I was President of The Oxbridge Launchpad from 2023–25, which means I have extensive experience and knowledge of the Oxbridge admissions process, having presented to schools around the country and run intensive Summer Programmes. I was also the Safeguarding Lead during those years, meaning I maintain best practice in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of my mentees.

Since 2022, I’ve helped 10 applicants through one-off application and interview prep sessions (with 70% success in gaining offers), and four further students with regular sessions throughout the application process—all of whom received offers. My sessions will be fully tailored around you. Once I get to know more about you, I’ll set up structured and targeted sessions to help you tell your unique story and crack the Oxbridge application.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing football (albeit not very well), following Arsenal, and catching games at the Emirates when possible.
