About Me

Hi, I'm Alice, a fourth-year medical student at Selwyn College, Cambridge. I'm now in the clinical portion of my degree, after completing an intercalated BA in Physiology and Development last year. In the future, I hope to be a portfolio GP and medical educator.

As a supervisor for pre-clinical medical students at Cambridge, I have experience in small group teaching and providing targeted feedback on written work. As part of the Cambridge Widening Access to Medicine Society, I’ve provided mock interviews to prospective medical students from state school backgrounds. I also have experience in mentoring for other parts of the Oxbridge Medicine application process, including personal statement writing and admissions test coaching. I scored in the 98th percentile for the UCAT back in 2020, and have lots of tips and tricks to share with prospective medics! Coming from a state comp school, I understand the challenges of the Oxbridge process and can tailor sessions specifically to help you overcome these. I am also fully DBS checked and have thorough safeguarding training, as I work as the Director of Welfare at a summer school outside of university term.

Outside of my studies, I love painting, spending time in nature, and hanging out with my friends. I’m a big proponent of having a good work-life balance and wellbeing, which is so important in Medicine!
