About Me

Hello! I'm Seb, a second-year ASNaC (Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic) student at Gonville and Caius, University of Cambridge. My interests lie in the interdisciplinary approach that ASNaC offers—bringing together archaeology, source analysis, and language to uncover the past.


I’ve worked with the Oxbridge Launchpad since 2024 but have been tutoring and mentoring since 2023. I have experience tutoring a range of subjects, including History, French, and Maths, and can offer advice and support with applications to Archaeology, ASNaC, and History at Oxbridge.


Having recently gone through the admissions process myself, I understand how daunting and intimidating applying to Oxbridge can feel. As a tutor, I aim to help applicants channel their passion for their subject into their application, making it both more effective and enjoyable to write. I also work to demystify the application process and prepare applicants for interviews and UCAS questionnaires by providing clear, detailed guidance. My sessions are as flexible and tailored as possible to the needs of each applicant.


Outside of tutoring, I enjoy hiking, playing badminton, and kayaking—I’ve found they’re great ways to reinvigorate yourself after long stints in the library or writing essays. I also enjoy painting, cooking, and playing board games.
