About Me

Hiya! I’m Corrine, a second-year student studying Human, Social, and Political Sciences (HSPS) at Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge. I’m absolutely delighted to take on this role as an Oxbridge Admissions Coach, and I’m especially eager to help students ace the application process and attend the university of their dreams!

I’m a firm believer that hard work, proactiveness, dedication, and intellect should be the sole defining criteria for your future and educational success. As HSPS requires students to demonstrate strong intellectual versatility, curiosity, and critical thinking, my sessions will focus on developing your interdisciplinary analysis and perspective—breaking down the boundaries between subjects and exploring how they interconnect and relate to the real world.

A crucial part of the degree is the ability to synthesise thought: observing and analysing how different theories and social phenomena interact and connect to shape human societies across multiple dimensions—economic, political, and cultural.

My sessions will therefore focus on enhancing the following core skills:

Intellectual agility

Real-world and contemporary knowledge

Synthesised thought and analysis

Critical thinking

By the end of our sessions, I hope you'll feel significantly more confident and well-equipped to nail your application for HSPS at Cambridge!
