About Me

Hiya! I’m Ayman, a third-year Medical student at University College, Oxford. I’m thoroughly enjoying my degree and recently submitted my dissertation on the use of a novel blood vessel imaging device in the ear for diagnosing and monitoring cardiovascular disease—which I found incredibly interesting! I achieved a Merit in my first-year exams and a Distinction in my second-year exams.

I’m very familiar with the Oxbridge admissions process, having gone through it myself in 2021/22, and I’ve been coaching students on various aspects of it ever since. I’ve tutored with both The Oxbridge Launchpad and independently, and I’ve served as Lead Medicine Coordinator for TOL’s 2024 Summer Programme and Oxbridge Unlocked. I also currently deliver UCAT tutoring for around six hours a week (which probably means I’m better at it now than I was when I took it myself!). So far, both students I’ve worked with regularly for Oxbridge interview prep have received offers from Oxford (Wadham and Merton).

Through this experience, I’ve developed a strong understanding of the entire Oxbridge Medicine admissions process. I’ve worked with a wide range of students and tailor my sessions to suit your specific needs—whether you're looking for interview practice, UCAT guidance, or support with your personal statement.

Teaching and tutoring have always been passions of mine, and I try to bring energy, empathy, and encouragement into every session. One of the few things I’m more enthusiastic about is sport—I play badminton and cricket for the university and will happily play or watch just about any sport! Any remaining free time is usually spent hanging out with friends and family.
