About Me

Hi, I'm Ayesha, a fourth-year medical student at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford! I've just completed three years studying undergraduate medicine, specialising in cancer biology and endocrinology in my third year and will be graduating with a first-class degree this summer. 

During my medical school applications, I was supported by a mentor for TOL. I found this to be extremely helpful during a stressful period, so I am keen to do the same of future medics and biomedics! I provide support with general queries or worries regarding the Oxbridge application, personal statement drafting and feedback, support with admissions tests including my own tips and tricks, and finally nailing the interview. I have been mentoring students for almost 3 years now, whom all have reached interview stage and gained admission into medical school. 

My sessions are a chance for you to firstly understand what an admissions tutor is looking out for, apply such requirements to your current application, and finally continue refining these areas at every stage of the application process. All sessions are 1-to-1, personalised and completely honest as this an opportunity to push yourselves and think two steps ahead of an admissions tutor. I prepare well in advance of our sessions whether you are looking for a long-term mentor or a one-off sessions and will provide you with active steps you can take in the future so you can make the most of our sessions. 

Outside of medicine, I spend my time playing badminton, painting and volunteer as an ambassador for several charities including Human Appeal and Medics 4 Rare Disease. I’m hoping to volunteer at disadvantaged schools later this year and believe helping the younger generation extends beyond academia, rather is supporting students in all skill sets to achieve their full potential.
