About Me

Hi, I’m Lara—a second-year undergraduate studying History at Balliol College, Oxford. Over the past year, I have really enjoyed mentoring with Oxbridge Launchpad and have successfully guided applicants through the admissions process. I take a personalised, structured, supportive, and creative approach to tutoring, which I’ve developed over the past five years in various contexts.


I’m here to help you decide on college choices, explore what it’s like to study History, develop your personal statement, and prepare for the HAT and interviews.


Every History applicant has a unique voice and perspective—channelling yours in the application process will be a very exciting journey, and I look forward to working with you.


Outside of my degree, I enjoy playing tennis, volunteering with charities, discovering new coffee shops and walks around Oxford with friends, and organising events for the societies I run.

I’ll help you prepare for the Oxbridge interview by teaching you how to think aloud clearly, respond with confidence, and stay calm under pressure. We’ll practise real questions and refine your approach until you’re ready for anything.
