About Me

Hey! I’m Manelle, a first-year English Language and Literature undergraduate at Corpus Christi College, Oxford. I’m from East London with a fully state school background. I have a deep passion for literature—the power it holds, the history it carries, and the way it shapes how we understand the world and ourselves. Oxford has already pushed me to think more critically, write more boldly, and engage more meaningfully with language—and I’m here to help you do the same.


As someone who recently went through the application process myself, I understand exactly how challenging (and exciting) it can be. I bring fresh, first-hand experience and up-to-date knowledge of what Oxford is really looking for. This year alone, I’ve mentored three students—two now holding offers from Oxford, and one from Cambridge.


My mentoring style is completely tailored to you: whether you're struggling with how to approach unseen texts, or just want someone to guide and support you through the process, I’ve got you. I aim to make literature feel less intimidating and more alive—and to help you find your unique voice in this journey.

I’ll help you build the skills and strategy you need to succeed in your admissions test. We’ll break down tricky questions, improve your timing, and make sure you’re confident going into the exam.
